Sir Kenneth Robinson : TED Talk

I've been a fan of Sir Kenneth Robinson ever since I discovered his first TED Talk video back in 2007. In his series of TED talks he brings to focus the problems of our education system, the culture of a one-size-fits-all way of learning and how it has become counter productive in allowing our children to flourish. 

There is a staggering statistic that Robinson mentions at the beginning of this video. "In some parts of the country 60% of kids drop out of high school...if we halved that number one estimate is it would create a net gain to the US economy over 10 years of nearly a Trillion dollars...it actually cost an enormous amount to mop up the damage...". 

I believe it takes a paradigm shift in the way we approach our children's education in order for them to want to learn rather than have to learn. Robinson is an advocate of change in our education system and calls for a revolution and I'm all for it.
